I spoke with Grandmother today who said that mom is still doing about the same.  Her lungs have improved a tad she said.  They are possibly looking to put her in a nursing home for long term care.  She is uninsured so cannot stay at the long-term care facility at the hospital.  Anyhow, I suppose that it is good that they are looking forward.  Please continue to pray.  I know it is easy to become complacent, but please continue to pray for her.  I'm going crazy because I haven't heard her voice in 32 days...that's over 4 weeks!

Diana is doing quite well. Her health continues to improve. She should be able to talk today. She still has a trachea in place but it will be the type that allows speech. How difficult it will be for her to talk I don't know but at least she can communicate. Amanda and Barbara brace yourselves, Diana has one month of talking pent up inside her. You would be so pleased to see her right now. She is lucid and ready to go home (in her mind she's ready not the doctor's - they don't want a relapse).

Other news: Zach is playing on the 8th grade basketball team and they won their first game.
