Father, I just ask that you continue to work in mom's body and continue to heal her.  I ask that the antibiotics that she's on just start working overtime.  I ask that not only is she healed to full restoration, but even more so.  I pray that while she is out that you are speaking to her and preparing her for the days to come.  I pray peace over her.  I pray that when people enter her room they feel a miraculous peace, a peace only you can bring.  I pray that all the gunk in her lungs just starts break up and go away and she is able to start breathing on her own.  And Father, I pray for wisdom for all the doctors and nurses that are taking care of her, that they are fully alert and awake and that they genouinely care about doing all they can to get her better.  I pray that you also give them wisdom in which meds to give her and what to do.  I pray that you also give all of us, her family and friends, a comforting peace, knowing that she is your precious daughter and you have her best interests in mind, though we may not understand them.  Give us all energy and strength to deal with what may come in the days ahead.  And Father, I also pray for the logistics of this whole ordeal, for the financial provisions to be met, and all the things that go on behind the scenes at the Workman household, all the things that mom takes care of.  And I just want to thank you, Father.  Thank you for being the loving, caring, compassionate, awesome God that you are.  Thank you for each person you've brought into my mom's life, not only those that have blessed her, but those that she has blessed too.  Thank you for her and for her life.  I know that she belongs to you, but I pray she can stick around here for just a little longer.  I give You all the glory and honor and praise.  Thank you for the work you've already done and will do in mom and each of our lives as we go through this with her.
