LEAVE YOUR PRAYERS FOR DIANA AND FAMILY HERE 11/04/2008
Father, I just ask that you continue to work in mom's body and continue to heal her. I ask that the antibiotics that she's on just start working overtime. I ask that not only is she healed to full restoration, but even more so. I pray that while she is out that you are speaking to her and preparing her for the days to come. I pray peace over her. I pray that when people enter her room they feel a miraculous peace, a peace only you can bring. I pray that all the gunk in her lungs just starts break up and go away and she is able to start breathing on her own. And Father, I pray for wisdom for all the doctors and nurses that are taking care of her, that they are fully alert and awake and that they genouinely care about doing all they can to get her better. I pray that you also give them wisdom in which meds to give her and what to do. I pray that you also give all of us, her family and friends, a comforting peace, knowing that she is your precious daughter and you have her best interests in mind, though we may not understand them. Give us all energy and strength to deal with what may come in the days ahead. And Father, I also pray for the logistics of this whole ordeal, for the financial provisions to be met, and all the things that go on behind the scenes at the Workman household, all the things that mom takes care of. And I just want to thank you, Father. Thank you for being the loving, caring, compassionate, awesome God that you are. Thank you for each person you've brought into my mom's life, not only those that have blessed her, but those that she has blessed too. Thank you for her and for her life. I know that she belongs to you, but I pray she can stick around here for just a little longer. I give You all the glory and honor and praise. Thank you for the work you've already done and will do in mom and each of our lives as we go through this with her. Amen Danelle Wed, 05 Nov 2008 14:22:53 Joel sent a prayer for both of us, but I wanted you to know you are definitely in my thoughts too. My father was basically on his death bed 2 years ago. The doctors had never seen anything like it and couldn't even explain why he was still alive or what had caused his condition in the first place. Today he is doing well, and only because we serve a miracle-working, healing God. I know that He does not always choose the same things for everyone, but I know for sure that He hears our every cry and cares for each of His children beyond what we can ever hope or imagine. I pray that His peace will settle in your heart and his strength will keep you when you feel weak. I also pray that your mom will feel His presence, even though she might be unconscious. I pray for his healing touch to rest on her and work through her body. I also pray that the Lord will give you rest during this time. Remember, God is faithful in all of His ways. We come to you just speechless, I'm no even sure what to say. I can't even say I know what Amanda is feeling right now and I won't pretend to. We are here asking for you to miraculously heal Diana from head to toe. We pray that you just restore her lungs, her blood, all of the infection and that you make her body twice as strong as it was before this sickness fell upon her. You are an awesome God and there is no question in our minds that you can do this, so we pray that you start this healing process now as we're praying to you. We pray that you be with Amanda and her family right now. We pray that you comfort them and that there just be that peace that Amanda mentioned in her prayer. We pray that you just fall on Amanda right now as we're praying...that you hug her and that she feels your awesome power right there in the room with her. We do pray for patience which is so often hard to muster up when your loved one is suffering and there's nothing you can do about it.
